“ Have been going there for thirty years or more has had its good and bad most of my family is gluten and dairy free ( something you don't want to experience ) I thank you for your support in making sure everyone has a good meal I compliment you on an outstanding job wat a great season of deliciousness we appreciate you ”
“ So we love this place and hit it every time we are in Essex. We have probably eaten here a dozen times and my most recent visit was in October 2024. I arrived at 7:00 PM about 30 minutes before closing and had the grilled haddock sandwich. It's excellent. I've had the fried clams before which is also excellent. My favorite is the clam chowder, excellent. The views of the marsh are lovely and the restaurant is clean and well kept. Probably the toughest part is it's cash only but thankfully, there's an ATM there if needed. Great place, highly recommended if you're in the Essex area! ”
“ Farnhams has been our family "go to" for as long as I can remember! They always change the oil so nothing is ever greasy or has an old oil burnt taste! Seafood chowder is amazing as is everything on the menu! ”
“ Still the best fried whole belly clams around. Can't go up to Crane Beach without stopping by - get the tarter sauce! It's sooo good with the clams - The inside has AC! Hallelujah! - cash only! Bring lots of it cause it's expensive - ATM located inside - boat in/out - order your food and sit inside or out. If your outside they'll call over the speaker to pickup - They've had a makeover and redid the outside front area and added umbrella's spots on the water The parking still isn't great but the city is in the process of putting in a sidewalk ”
